Spokane HOPE is a birth to age 5 early intervention center for children who are deaf or hard of hearing, who use hearing technology to learn to listen, speak, and thrive in our hearing world. Although we support ASL as a common communication modality for children who are deaf, our teachers of the deaf and speech language pathologists specialize in the listening and spoken language approach - learning to listen and talk by building the auditory brain. We offer early intervention, toddler groups, preschool, and parent support.

Night by Night Shelter for 62 Men 18 & Over. We provide shower, dinner, breakfast, and a bed. Check in is from 5 pm to 7 pm. They must be able to Self Care. We provide case management from FBH and referrals for other Community Resources helping them transition out of Homelessness. Call first for availability; no drop offs or loitering allowed in 6-block radius.

Vanessa Behan provides 24/7 emergency childcare to children 0-6 years old (and 7-12 as capable) when parents are experiencing life disruptions. While our focus is on child abuse prevention, we know that happens when supporting families through every day situations. We provide diapers, wipes, formula and other essentials as available as well as parent education, play groups and resource support. Vanessa Behan is community funded.
